Nicolas Loménie is appointed as President of Héphaïstos’s Scientific Council

Nicolas Loménie has been working in the field of computer vision and machine learning for more than two decades.

He holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and is currently Associate Professor at University of Paris. Ten years ago, he specialized in the field of digital pathology during his stay in Singapore research facilities from 2009 to 2013.  Back to France, he has been committed to build up a national community around digital pathology leveraging on collaborations patiently shaped within the medical academic departments. He is currently supervising several research projects in the field and serves as the president of the Scientific Board of an upcoming 2020 challenge about digital pathology organized by the Health Data Hub and the French National Society of Pathology (SFP).

Nicolas will be the president of the Scientific Council.
